Hate…Is Not a Luxury!

Slamming her locker she looked at the words outlined in red, permanent marker like blood from a fresh kill. She could feel the stares from the other kids in the hallway and as tears crested the corners of her eyes, she hunched over, hands in her pockets and walked past her audience. They should yell “Dead Man Walking” she thought to herself. She walked down the main hallway, past the smirks and laughter which always tasted her back like the tongue of a vicious serpent.

Was she the words they called her? Was she really that bad? The only friend she had was someone she didn’t even really want to be friends with and even she didn’t like her that much. What had she ever done? She couldn’t even remember when it started, just some distant memory of that girl standing in the gym shouting, “Don’t pick her. We’ll lose if we have her!” Was it 4th grade? Maybe 5th? It didn’t matter. It still felt the same as that first time and even that girl haunted her wherever she went. Saddest of all was she wished she were that girl. Perfect hair and a perfect boyfriend. Everything…perfect.

Maybe even if she had parents who understood but how did you explain to your own parents that no one liked you. Especially when they were just as hard on you as everyone else. She shook her head before pushing the door open to walk outside into the sunshine, the school’s last bell ringing in her head like a million forevers. She crossed the street and walked onto the side street which would take her home. The final mile she liked to call it. It was the only place she felt truly safe. She pulled out her huge sunglasses which reminded her of Audrey Hepburn in Breakfast at Tiffany’s and put them on. They only cost her $2.99 but they made her feel glamorous. She pulled her iPod from her purse, put the earphones tightly in her ears and scrambled until she found the song she was looking for.

She looked behind her and smiled. No one.

Turning around, she cocked her sunglasses and then put her hands on her hips.

One…Two…Three!

Instantly she was on a runway in Paris strutting her shit as the crowd went crazy and her fans applauded. She walked to the end, stopped and gave her signature pouty lipped smile. She had shown them all. She wasn’t that bad after all. She was beautiful. She was amazing. She was gorgeous. She was fabulous.
Right…Left…Right…Left…she pranced back and forth on the same stretch of sidewalk until the song ended.

Finishing her runway walk, she turned the corner of her street walking tall. She could see her house in the distance. She stopped and started the song over again.

Maybe today wasn’t the day. Maybe she should wait. She might just prove them all wrong after all. Maybe one day…she’d even prove it to herself. Maybe. It might just be worth waiting around to find out. At least for another day…

Bullying is serious. Very serious. But so is your life! DO NOT give into the bully! Shove their nose in your success! Putting together days adds up to a lifetime. It’s worth waiting around to see what excitement is in store for you. Who knows. You might even end up being a supermodel!

Be yourself. Be unafraid…Be your own unexpected luxury!

Hate or Validate?

Today we received a hate letter via email. At first we laughed it off as we usually do and didn’t give it another thought. But the more the words sat in our heads ruminating we realized not responding would mean we were part of a greater problem. Bullying. And it reminding us of Oprah’s words on her last show.

How true.
In the last year we’ve made a personal goal to work towards anti-bullying even attempting to work with bullies to understand their motives. You see, this is a societal problem. We are quick to blame the bully but they are in pain too or they wouldn’t find joy or humor in making someone feel worse than they do themselves. At the cost of another life, we could not just sit back. Sure, we could handle the violent words of the ridiculous email but what about the 13 year old boy who is ridiculed and doesn’t have any friends because he is overweight or the 15 year old lesbian who doesn’t feel part of a “community” or “group” and walks through the halls every day at school in hopes of finding just one person who feels the same way she feels? What about the the skinny girl who everyone thinks is beautiful and smart and has it all but inside she doesn’t feel as if she can ever live up to anyone’s expectations, including her own? What about the 17 year old gay teenager who stays in his room in front of his computer looking for a life or a world where someone will make him feel like he’s good enough? We’ve made it through those days…but they haven’t. This is for them…we are here if you need us. You aren’t alone.

So…here’s the first email:

NOBODY LIKES YOU FAT FUCKS
YOU GUYS ARE SERIOUSLY SO FUCKING STUPID AND LAME. PEOPLE GET EMBARASSED WHEN YOU TWO ARE AROUND. PETER YOUR A MIDLIFE CRISIS WITH YOUR UGLY ABERCROMBIE AND FITCH, AND ALEX..YOU HAIR??? Hmmmm…well, you can wait and hear our response personally tomorrow on our YouTube video HATE at our YouTube Channel

Our original thought was to respond humorously, as we always do, making tee-shirts stating MIDLIFE CRISIS and FATASS. But this is much too serious. How serious? It is illegal. If you question this check out your state’s code on harassment and intimidation.

But it is much more serious to us because of the effect it could have on someone who can’t take anymore and, as Oprah says, is simply looking for validation.

For anyone that feels that way…we love you, we’re here for you and you’re not alone. Our commitment is to never stop being ourselves until the hatred stops. We’re not going anywhere!

Be fearless…Be your own unexpected luxury!

A Skater’s Wet Dream…

Getting an in school suspension was not part of your plan. You just thought you’d skip your last class of the day and go and watch her run the mile for gym, since you heard her complaining about it at lunch. You weren’t sure what was more embarrassing; your mother having to be called when you’re a senior or the fact that the dean busted you on the bleachers right as she ran past you. Either way it meant you’d be spending all weekend at home and the entire day Monday in the Biology lab serving your detention. Your friend Evan drives you home and as you turn the corner onto your street you see the cream color of your brother’s truck which must mean he’s decided to come and stay for a couple of days giving you even less privacy. You grumpily stumble out of the car and head up the walk just as your mom and brother are walking out for dinner. “Grounded!” Your mother says as she walks past you.

You head upstairs and throw your bag on the floor and fall onto the bed. Turning on the tv you notice your mom has set your skateboard on your desk. The new deck, a Sean Cliver for Girl Skateboards Blacklight Series “Buddha Superstar”, glows like sea monkey’s in the dark of the room. Just as you roll over in frustration your phone rings. “Boy, you have to GOT toget here now!” Evan whispers into the phone. He explains that she’s at the skate park. “And she’s alone. She didn’t come with him. I think they might have broken up or something.” You hold the phone in your hand thinking about how much you miss her. How her hair smelled when you sat next to her in her car. How she’d smile at you right before she’d kiss you. “Give me 15 minutes.” You say and hang up the phone.

Looking at yourself in the mirror you realize there is no way you’re going to get her back looking the way you do. In fact, since she broke up with you, because you got drunk instead of hanging out with her, you’ve kind of let yourself go. She always said how she liked the way you dressed because you didn’t give a fuck and just wore what made you feel good.

You quickly get undressed and throw on your Spenglish “Juan Two Three” tee (Spenglish, $45) that she loved. You pull up your tight Nudie “Thin Finn Faded Black Black” jeans (Nudie, $199) and check yourself out in the mirror. Not bad. Not too shabby at all. But it’s not enough. Running your fingers through your hair you realize it’s greasy and you haven’t washed it in a couple of days.

You look over at your clock and realize you’ve already wasted 5 minutes. You head into the bathroom and pull the clippers out from underneath the sink. Plugging them in you look in the mirror. “Fuck it.” Five minutes later the six inches of hair surrounds your bare feet. Some pieces on your head are still longer than others, but who cares. You’re not a barber and you kind of like how it looks edgy anyway. But something is still missing. You stand there for a second and then get an idea. Walking into the guest bedroom you stand over your brother’s luggage as if you’ve found your hidden Christmas presents and don’t know if you should open them and seal them back or not. Quickly you unzip the biggest bag and look until you find exactly what you’re looking for. His brand new Gucci Washed Ostrich Biker jacket(Gucci, $11300)

You slip the jacket on carefully realizing how much it means to your brother. Standing in front of the mirror you realize it looks absolutely perfect. You’re sure you’ll be back before your mom and brother get back anyway so you’ll just slip it back in the suitcase and you’ll never get caught. You quickly grab you board and run out the door.

While running over to the skate park you think back on the first day you actually got up enough nerve to talk to her after having watched her from far away for a long time. You remember how your friends were pissed because you chose to sit and laugh with her all afternoon instead of skating. “Bros before hos, dude.” Afterwards she asked you to teach her to skate. You kissed her instead. But she became a pretty good skater…for a girl. And for the six months you were together saved up your money to buy her a board. She broke up with you before you ever got a chance to give it to her and the board still sat on the shelf in your closet.

When you finally reach the skate park you immediately sitting by herself with her back up against a tree. You throw down your board and skate over to Evan. “She’s been by herself the whole time. I’m telling you man, I think they broke up. She looks really sad.” You look over at her but she doesn’t look back. You take a deep breath and skate over to her. “Hey” You say. She looks up. “Hey.” She says back. You sit down next to her just as it starts raining. “So.” You say. “So.” She says. “Not skating today?” She asks, barely looking up. “Naw.” You say. You scratch your newly shaved head and some hairs falls in front of your face. You laugh. “I’ve missed you.” She says. You don’t say anything. You never were good with words. “It’s why we broke up. I told him I couldn’t be with him anymore because I was still in love with you.” You close your eyes and scream at yourself in your head. Don’t Cry! Don’t be a little bitch and start crying! But she’s already beat you to the punch. You stand up and reach for her hand. “Let’s get outta here.” You say. She takes your hand and stands up. She’s still crying. You reach into your pocket and grab the Sugar Factory “Hello Kitty” couture pop (Sugar Factory, $25) you bought her while at your brother’s wedding in Vegas.

She looks up and you make a face. She laughs. “Come on you asshole.” She says, pulling you with her across the field towards her car. About halfway there you stop. She turns around, confused, her hair slicked back in the pouring rain. You take off your brother’s leather jacket and put it around her shoulders. Lightly grabbing her by the back of her neck you pull her towards you. “I’ve missed you too.” You say, right before you kiss her.

“Wait!” She says. You open your eyes and look at her mysterious smirk. “I want your new board too.” She says, biting the corner of her lip. You look down and feel the rain wash down over the back of your neck as you fix your eyes on the key of her 2012 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited (Jeep, starts at $25545) thinking about all of the times the two of you made out in that car. Man, not the new board.

You think about all the nights you tried to say you were sorry but she wouldn’t talk to you. You think about all the times you walked past her house after school just to see if she was there. You think about all the times you had to watch her with him. Sometimes…life is in the risks. “Deal.” You say, smiling. She grabs you and kisses you hard.

And standing in the field, your lips meeting hers in the rainstorm, you realize how happy you are that you decided to break the rules and just say fuck it. Because even though your life is going to completely suck for the next few weeks, this moment is totally worth it. After all…this might have just been the greatest day of your life.

Be fearless. Be yourself. Be your own unexpected luxury!

Indy’s Own Sean Cody AND Brent Everett Boy Rylan…Redux!

A little over a year ago we posted an interview with our good friend and amateur gay porn star Rylan, Indy’s Own Sean Cody Boy Rylan. We had interviewed many porn stars, both straight and gay, and had really wanted to interview someone we knew well to get the real answers. Did we ever! Rylan’s answers to “how much money can you make in porn?” landed him at the top page of almost every national gay website and thread. He is the number one highest viewed interview we have EVER done, to this day, beating out singer MYA, Kelly Cutrone, and even Chelsea Lately’s Heather McDonald! And for this he will forever be in our book, an epic porn star affecting change in the industry! Literally hundreds upon hundreds of comments, both positive and negative, have come from the interview, but it’s Rylan’s attitude we find so endearing and attractive. We always knew, even though we stated we would no longer be posting porn star interviews, that we would save one or two or even post one if it was pertinent to our mission. Being that this week is Gay Pride in Indy, we thought it was only appropriate to shed light on one of Indy’s prize gay treasures. And although many may judge him for his decision to be a porn star, we believe it is his confidence, his attitude and his absolute pride that continue to shoot him to the top!

1. We interviewed you a year and a half ago and since then, you have received the most views of any single interview we have ever done. Also, numerous web threads and other articles
have been written based on our interview because you discussed what you made while filming for Sean Cody. Any response?

It seems kinda crazy that that one answer caused so much feedback. I have read a lot of blogs and other postings that this interview received and I was surprised by how much negative feedback there was. I am also flattered that my interview is your highest viewed interview, whether it be positive or negative.

2. If you had to prove what you made on Sean Cody, could you?

It is funny to me that people don’t believe I made what I say I did. I have the tax returns and the 1099 forms stating what I brought home for Sean Cody. The number that I used last time was before taxes, so my take home pay was less than that number but the number I answered with before was what I walked out of the studio with. I mean, I think its pretty low class when people say “There’s no way you made that much!”. I would never ask someone what they made and then look at them and say “Bullshit”. People can be so petty and judgmental sometimes. There are bigger issues than trying to argue with someone who I may have met once or never before at all over what I made from Sean Cody. I think someones personal income is their own business but I also have no problem proving what I say. I have the documents to back up my story. Moving on….. (That question has gotten kinda old if you couldn’t tell.

3. Any other numbers you would like to discuss regarding the adult film industry?
Not really. I guess the one thing is the number of straight guys that are in gay porn. I think that number is a lot higher than most people think. I mean true, if you say your straight but then and go do 20-30 films for a porn company with another guy, then there may be a hidden lust / desire for the same sex. I mean to be honest I don’t really care for the whole label topic. I think that there is a little bit of gay in everyone just as there is a little bit of straight in everyone.

4. What do you have planned next and why are you considering to move forward with your porn career at this time when you had been holding back?
Not really sure how to answer this. I will be working with Brent Everett for his studio. I dunno why I picked now to go back into porn…. I guess I have already done it and everyone knows that and …. yeah. I mean, I had fun before. And we are all only so young for so long. And if someone thinks negatively towards me for going back into it now….. FUCK THEM. It’s my life. Not theirs.

5. What positive opportunities has porn offered you?

Porn gave me (and is giving me) the chance to travel all around and to go to events like the Grabbys and to meet a ton of people. I got to meet and hang out with Roman Heart, Steve Pena, Brent Everett, Dean Monroe, Chi Chi, and others. It has given me the chance to make friends from all over the country.

6. What is your family’s stance on your porn career now?
My family knows about it. They are as “cool” as they can be about it. My parents don’t really like it but they also know that it is and was my choice and yeah..

7. How does doing porn affect your having a relationship?
It does make relationships hard. The other person has to be OK with you going off to do a “job”. And it really is a job. Its not like a hookup from a bar on a random Saturday night. I have had boyfriends that are totally fine with the porn and others who were definitely not OK with it. It takes a strong person to be OK with dating someone who does porn.

8. On Sean Cody you did solo and coupled scenes. Which one is more difficult and why?

Oh man. The solo was the hardest. I was so nervous and it was the first thing i did with them. It just seemed easier after getting that first solo out of the way.

9. Would you ever do a straight porn scene and if so who would you want to be paired with?
Hmmmm. I probably would never do straight porn, but…. If i had to pick a chick to have sex with, it would probably been Jennifer Aniston. She is just ungodly hot.

10. What was it like working with Brent Everett who JUST won Best Actor and Best Performer(along with Samuel Colt) for the 2011 Grabby Awards?

Well, I don’t know yet. I just meet him and Steve Pena over Memorial Day weekend and I am in the process of starting to work for them. I haven’t filmed for them yet. But I will let you guys know as soon as I do. They are both super great guys. I am definitely looking forward to working with them in the future.

11. You also worked with Brent’s husband Steve Pena we’re assuming. How do they appear to make a successful relationship work within the boundaries of the adult film industry?

Like I said above, haven’t worked with them yet, but both are amazing. Again, I think it takes a special guy to be able to date a guy who is in porn. I don’t know the details on their relationship so I would like to not comment on it. Both are great guys and I would like to respect their privacy.

12. How has the gay community in Indianapolis responded to you since you finished with Sean Cody?

I guess you can say mixed… I have had people call me trash for what I did. So what…. Those are usually the people who go home and spend HOURS looking at porn. Pretty much all of my friends have positive things to say about it. I mean I like to think of my self as a normal 20-something, proud, gay man who happens to be in porn. Instead of a porn guy who happens to be mid twenties, single. My “normal life” comes before my “porn life”.

13. Other Sean Cody, and porn stars for that matter, are from Indianapolis. Why do you think they aren’t as open about their history in the business as you are?

I can not speak for the others but everyone has their own personal reasons for being as open or not as open as they are about their past. I like to think that I live my life like an open book. I know people know I have done porn. Big deal. Everyone has looked at porn at some point in their life. To me, its a job. I live my life with no regrets what so ever.

14. In Indianapolis, what is the sexiest bar? Sexiest hotel? Sexiest place to kiss? Sexiest Restaurant? Sexiest College in Indiana? Sexiest Date? Sexiest Person? Sexiest Couple?(In Indianapolis…his hometown)
OH MAN…….
Bar = Sensu. Talbott. There really are more than you think. I don’t want to pick just one… but Sensu is definately pretty sexy.
Hotel = JW Marriot!!!!!
Kiss = The canal, the gardens at IMA, or Holcomb Gardens at Butler. (pretty sappy, I know….)
Restaurant = man….there are so many. I love too many to pick just one.
College = IU has the best looking guys for sure, but I like the party scene at Purdue a lot too. Butler has some sexy guys as well..
Date = Have to say the best date I ever had was when this guy and I went to Adobo Mexican Restaurant downtown & ate, and then spent the next 2-3 hours just walking around downtown talking and getting to know one another. Too bad that was the only time we went on a date…..
Person = NOT ANSWERING!. I am not picking a person. There are a lot of sexy people in Indianapolis.
Couple = Alex & Peter! Haha. Again, there are so many great couples in Indy. Really like Peyton Manning and his wife. They seem to be great people and both are always helping others through charities and what not.

15. What advice would you give an 18 year old gay male wanting to enter the adult film industry?
Make sure its something you really want to do and that you will be ok with the outcome. Once you do it, it’s with you for life. Oh, and OWN it.

16. What three things would you change in Indianapolis to make it more gay friendly?

I think Indy has made great progress with the LGBT community. HOWEVER….. Indiana as a whole needs to step far away from the thought of making “marriage” strictly between a man and a woman. Why should someone that I have never met have the right to tell me that I can not marry the person that I love…. totally wrong. But I think Indianapolis is starting to come around. Pride has grown every year to be bigger and better. People just need to be accepting of others and their views.

17. Since this is Pride Week in Indianapolis, how do you define Pride?

I think Pride is just being OK and comfortable in your own skin. I am very proud of who i am and what I have done. I live my life with no regrets. Its kinda dumb to say but if instead of telling people what to be or how to act or who to love, we just accept people for who and what they are.

18. What are three non-gay specific bars you feel very comfortable going to in Indianapolis?
Brothers in Broadripple, Scottys (all three), and Kilroys. Also like Bartinnis, Sensu, OPT’s, Mineshaft….

19.What are three positive things about being gay in Indianapolis?

The “group” of gays in Indy are very open and friendly. Everytime you go out in Indy, you always meet someone knew. The “scene” here in Indy is ever growing. There seems to be a new place to hang out just about every month. And the best thing i think is that the friends that I have made in Indianapolis since I came out a few years ago are friends that I will hold onto and be great friends for many years to come.

20. Any plans to entertain any football players while the Superbowl is in Indy?
HAHAHAHAHA who knows. No plans….. Yet.

21. What’s next after Brent Everett?
I don’t know…. Right now just taking life one day at a time and enjoying it.

22. And again…Boxers, briefs, jockstraps…or nothing at all?
HAHA depends. At home, work, or gym its boxer briefs. A sexy night out on the town, I may wear something a little more sexy like UNICOs or AussieBums or something fun like that. :-) I have a funny pair that I wear sometimes. They say “Your Place or Mine across the ass. :-D Also have some DEISELS that have some cool, sexy sayings across the butt.

Thanks buddy! Love ya!

Indy’s Odd Couple…Katelin Reeves and Molly Brickel Dominate the Downtown Club Scene!

In our attempt to focus on the truly positive assets Indianapolis has as a thriving, social metropolis, we are often intrigued by the way the bigger city living of Indy mixes so appropriately with a small town colloquial charm. No better example of this is the friendly interactions between the employees of the bars and clubs lining the southern end of Meridian. For the first time in many years, those bars and clubs are all working together, realizing their strengths while trying to enable each others’ success not impede on their strengths and challenge one another. (Well…maybe one or two bars are standing in their way, let’s be honest here.) And at the core of this success are the servers, doormen, security, bartenders and managers that are running these establishments. Most of them have known each other for quite some time; grown up together in this club arena. And they are friends. Most nights when we are out, we’ll see Dustin Worrell walk across from Blu to SENSU just to visit and say hi. Brandon Slate, the manager of Bartini’s and Cadillac Ranch can often be found walking down to Blu or SENSU to check in on his friends. But who’s respnsible for this pivotal turning of events where all of these bars are helping each other instead of challenging each other? Who is so wise and deliciously smart that they realize the power in appreciating differences and getting along as a business endeavor to further their own success. Who? A very, unlikely “Odd Couple” so to speak…Katelin Reeves, general manager of Blu and Hyde, and Molly Brickel, general manager of SENSU. Not only are these two, strong women literally running the downtown club scene only steps across Meridian from one another, but they are also old roommates…and most importantly, dear friends. So, we thought it would be interesting to interview the Dynamic Duo, but have them answer the questions for their counterpart. The first part of our interview will be Katelin answering for Molly. Damn girls…ain’t it great to share an empire!! We love these young women and admire their strength, their wisdom and their take no shit attitude…They’re good…and they know they’re good. They own it with humility and sexiness…and for that they deserve to be standing at the top! Together!

1. How long have you known each other and how did you meet?
We met a little after Blu opened in 2006. I was a bartender, she was a server…it was love!

2. Do you have nicknames for each other?
Molly has lots of nicknames, Mo, Mimi…but she’s always Molls to me.

3. What is one (safe)secret you know about the other person?
Haha. I already know which one she’ll spill of mine. Molly is a creepy dog person, with clothes, full conversations (where she does both her and their voice), and the like, but I’m equally creepy with my cat, so I find it acceptable. We are also both secret nerds for sure.

4. What is one trait that made them a horrible roommate but makes them an amazing bar manager? And vice versa?
Molly gets an idea in her head, and makes it happen. I’d want to go out; she’d be reorganizing her craft collection. I’d want to sleep; she’d be on a cleaning spree. But that focus is needed in positions like ours- the day gets away from you so quickly without focus. I’d say for both of us the vice versa is our dedication. We would do anything for anyone, and sometimes you get taken advantage of as a result. But as a roommate, it’s a great quality.

5. Five words that would describe the other person.
Fun, spontaneous, sexy, eclectic, loyal

6. What is your favorite moment you spent with the other person?

How do I choose? I love holidays with Molly. She’s from a huge family, and I was an only child, so it’s fun to share our different traditions. We had a blast decorating our Christmas tree last year when we got home from a night out at 2am.

7. How does it work to your advantage to be friends with each other and have bars directly across from each other?
Our clubs are very different, but really, at the core, every bar is the same. Just knowing you have support from the other, that they literally are across the street, is a great thing. We have bitch sessions that keep us healthy. We have great nights and bad nights. But we do experience very similar things day-to-day.

8. Do your husbands/boyfriends get along?
Yes. They love each other even though they are almost polar opposites. We are all family.

9. What is the next event you are promoting at your club?

Why, “A Night Fit for a Queen” with RadioNOW and the boys of Raannt, of course! The after party to Pride Day on June 11th with tons of giveaways each equaling $250 and special guest appearances!

10. In Indianapolis…What is the sexiest Bar? Hotel? Place to Kiss? Restaurant? Person? Couple?
Bar: I know I should say mine, but it’s way too much like being at home for me, though it is a sexy spot :) I’d have to say Nicky Blaine’s…my husband, Matt, and I have had a lot of really amazing talks down there.

Hotel: I still haven’t been to the JW, but have heard great things. That aside, I love the Omni. It’s got Olives, one of my favorite spots in the city for a drink, and we had our honeymoon suite there. The view was incredible, and we really got taken care of.

Place to Kiss: Monument Circle. You’re in the very middle of the city!

Restaurant: Mo’s. It’s elegant and the food is fantastic. My husband and I had our post-wedding meal there, so I’m definitely partial. The chef did a special 4-course meal for the two of us, Jeremiah and Lisa made sure our names were printed on the menu, and we had the best seat in the house. Very sexy.

Person: My dude Matt Bourbeau! Any man that will put up with me is beyond sexy, and he’s been doing it for years.

Couple: Peyton and Ashley Manning. I’ve been their private bartender for a while, and they are so down-to-earth, so involved with charities, and so selfless with their time, it’s unbelievable. I was so happy to learn about their new additions; they’ll be amazing parents. Plus, she is absolutely GORGEOUS!

11. Your mantra to running a successful bar?
Don’t get caught up in the nightclub craziness. It can be very competitive, with long hours, and take over your life if you let it. Be yourself, be honest, treat people well, and take time off.

12. Give us three insider secrets?

You don’t really have to spend a lot of money to get the VIP treatment in most clubs. All you need to do is be nice, patient, frequent the bar, learn the who’s who of the staff, and tip well.

Don’t be intimidated by anyone who works at the bar. Everyone has their persona that they put on when they come to work, but most of us are very real people that are very different outside of our jobs.

Ladies, if you have a cute group of girls and you don’t want to pay cover, just call in advance. If it’s not super busy, you’ve probably got the in. Sorry guys!

13. Where will the other person be in their career in five years?

Molly will either be a mom or running a nightclub in Vegas. And I know that she’ll not only love, but be great at, either one.

14. What is the other person’s drink of choice?

Dirty Belvedere martini on the rocks, in a pint glass.

15. Boxers, briefs, jockstraps…or nothing at all? (Answer what you think the other person would say and why?)
Molly and I are both boxer-brief kind of girls, and that’s what I’m going with! Love you Molls!

Stay tuned for Molly’s responses about Katelin! Til then…
